When should you order bachelorette shirts?
Rule of thumb: order four to six weeks before the date. That sounds like a lot, but for good reasons:
- You need sizes from every participant — that alone takes one or two weeks, because there is always one person who only replies after the third reminder.
- Production with us takes five to ten working days depending on the print method.
- Shipping takes one to three working days.
- You want a buffer for mock-up corrections or claims.
Anyone ordering one to two weeks in advance pays an express surcharge (50-150 euros depending on quantity) and can no longer pick every method. With a very tight deadline, usually only digital print or DTF works, because screen print needs lead time for the films.
Slogan ideas for the bride or groom
Classics still work — and they are exactly what the crew want passers-by to see. Ten proven examples:
- "Team Bride" / "Team Groom"
- "Bride Squad" / "Groom Squad"
- "Bride Tribe"
- "Last Night of Freedom"
- "Crew of the Bride"
- "Mr. & Mrs. [Name] — Hen 2026"
- "She is not getting married today — but she is celebrating"
- "Maid of Honour on Duty"
- "To the groom!"
- "Save the Queen / King"
Tip: Plan a different shirt for the main person (bride/groom) — different colour, different print or a crown motif. That makes it clear who is being celebrated. Common choices: bride in white, crew in black or rosé. For men: groom in blue, crew in white.
Quantity recommendation
Typical bachelorette groups have six to fifteen people. For smaller groups (under ten), digital print or DTF pays off — no set-up costs, any motif possible. From 25 to 30 pieces, screen print becomes cheaper because the film cost is spread across many shirts. More on this in our quantity discount calculator screen printing.
Order checklist:
- Collect sizes from everyone (XS to 3XL)
- Consider different cuts for women and men if needed
- Order one or two spare shirts in M/L (last-minute requests)
- Main person: separate special motif
Which print method fits?
For bachelorette shirts we usually recommend digital print (DTG) or DTF — because:
- You do not need a minimum run — even six pieces are no problem.
- Any colours and photo motifs are possible.
- Production starts quickly.
Screen print only pays off if you have 25+ pieces and a single-colour, clean motif — then it is significantly cheaper and more durable.
2026 trend: Pastel slogans and photo collages of the couple as background. For that digital print is essential — screen print cannot do it.
Mock-up approval — the most important step
Before we produce, we send you a digital mock-up. Read it through with a second person. Typos in a bachelorette slogan are awkward later — and the print is permanent. Watch out for:
- Spelling of names (Marie/Mary, Stefan/Stephan)
- Date (24/07/2026 vs. 24/06/2026)
- Position of the print (chest, very front, high or low)
- Size of the lettering (better correct now than regret later)
Pitfalls — and how to avoid them
Pitfall 1: sizes get estimated. Have everyone share their size themselves — best with a photo of a favourite shirt and the size inside it.
Pitfall 2: shipping is delayed. Plan to be too early rather than too late. Order so that the shirts arrive at least seven days before the date.
Pitfall 3: the print wobbles after the first wash. Wash bachelorette shirts before first wear, cold, inside out, no tumble dryer. More in care for printed shirts.
Pitfall 4: who pays? Settle in advance whether the group pays individually or one person collects and transfers in one go. The latter makes ordering simpler.
