Is GOTS organic worth it or does organic cotton without GOTS suffice?

Depends on the brief. If you write "organic cotton" on a promo tote and find yourself in front of an advertising-law court in a dispute, GOTS is the mandatory minimum certification. For sustainability claims without GOTS backing you face advertising-law risk (see BCI cotton discussion). For eco claims without a hard brand ambition, the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification of the conventional W101 is often sufficient.

Yes, all three main models (W101, W801, W210) are 100 % cotton without plastic components. The carry handles are woven from the same cotton fibre. How environmentally friendly is DTG print compared to screen print on organic cotton?

Both methods are OEKO-TEX compliant. Screen print with water-based inks is marginally more environmentally friendly than DTG (no pretreatment needed, lower water consumption in the print machine), but the delta is small.
