Occasion shirts have clear annual peaks. To make sure your order arrives on time, plan 2 to 4 weeks of lead time depending on the occasion.

• Q1 (January to March): Carnival, Fasching, season opening, graduation prep. Peak season in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Mainz.
• Q2 (April to June): Father's Day, Mother's Day, graduation balls, hen-and-stag-do season starts, first summer weddings.

Which printing method fits which occasion?

The right print depends on quantity, design and how the shirt will be worn. A quick rule of thumb:

• 1 to 10 pieces with photo or colourful design: Digital print (DTG) — photo quality, soft hand-feel, from 1 piece. Ideal for hen-and-stag-dos, weddings, Father's Day.
• 10 to 50 pieces with a clear motif: DTF print — vibrant and durable, even on dark fabrics. Ideal for carnival and family sets.
• From 50 pieces with one to three colours: Screen print — lowest unit cost on larger runs, very durable. Ideal for graduation year groups and club occasions.
• Logos on polo shirts or caps: Embroidery — high-quality and elegant, perfect for best-man polos or crew caps.

Order lead-time rule of thumb per occasion

6+ weeks before event: Optimal lead time for all occasions. All finishing methods possible incl. high-volume screen print.

4 weeks before event: Standard lead time for town festivals, weddings, festivals. DTF and screen print (smaller runs) feasible.

3 weeks before event: Tight — DTF (5–7 working days standard) is the best choice. Screen print only with very clean motif and free slot capacity.

2 weeks before event: Express recommended (+20 %). DTF with express production in 3 working days + UPS overnight enables delivery 2–3 days before event.

10–14 days before event: Squeezed — DTF + express + overnight shipping. Only guaranteed with free capacity. Immediate bulk-order inquiry.

Under 10 days: Only with special approval. For wedding crews with individual photo motifs: inkjet transfer with express possible. Please call directly.

Seasonal bottlenecks — when do you need to order early?

High season spring/summer (April–September). Town festivals, shooting fests, festivals, school trips, summer events. High-season bottleneck particularly in June–August. Place order 6 weeks before event.

High season autumn/winter (November–December). Christmas markets, Christmas employee gifts, company Christmas parties, charity actions. December bottleneck particularly 10–20 December. Place order by 24 November for regular delivery before Christmas Eve.

Mid season (October, February–March). Carnival season (February–March, Cologne/Düsseldorf, etc.). School carnival orders in February particularly tight. Place order 4 weeks before event date.

Low season (January, early May). Optimal for mandatory orders — employee polos, club jersey follow-ups, mass-market promo. Low utilisation, short lead times (5–7 working days standard).
