StormTech was founded in Canada in 1977 and is today among the leading performance-wear brands for the North American B2B and promotional market. The brand stands for engineered apparel — thoughtfully constructed clothing with clearly defined performance promises instead of interchangeable promo goods. Three material technologies define the range:

StormTech KXV-1 — Nautilus Thermal Bodywarmer

Material properties — what makes StormTech special
Sweat management. H2X-DRY transports moisture away from the skin to the outside — the fabric stays dry on the inside, the wearer feels cool even under load. Important for field sales, trade show standing days and performance sport sponsorship.
Bi-elastic softshell. H2X® Stretch stretches in all directions — the Greenwich Softshell doesn't pinch, even when the wearer moves, lifts or bends. Important for sales crews in field service, event setup teams and shipping harbor personnel.
Thermal Shell™. The Nautilus thermo bodywarmer has an insulation weight of approx. 120 g/m² — warm enough for transition seasons and mild winters, but light enough that the vest can be worn under a jacket. For deep winter we recommend StormTech full-zip versions with higher thermal weight.
Branding friendliness. StormTech polos and softshells are available in dark main colors (Black, Navy, Charcoal, Burgundy) — the ideal carrier material for premium embroidery with metallic or contrasting thread colors. Light accents (White, Silver Grey) are available for summer polos.
Finishing recommendation — what suits StormTech?
Embroidery is the premium choice for StormTech. On softshells, bodywarmers and 1/4-zip pullovers, embroidery looks significantly more valuable than any transfer print. Standard position: left chest 7-9 cm. Premium variant: embroidered logos on the hood or back. Important: On H2X® Stretch material we use special embroidery interlining so the fabric can stretch further when worn without distorting the embroidery.
Flex printing is suitable for performance polos in light colors (White, Silver Grey) and for thin detail designs on the Greenwich Softshell. Sweat-wicking films (premium flex) stay elastic even after 50+ washes and don't break.
Not recommended: Plastisol screen printing on the performance polos — the film hinders the H2X-DRY sweat-wicking system and detaches at the wash seam after a few washes.
