The 3 most popular hen-and-stag-do shirt sets
Three standard configurations cover roughly 80 % of orders. They differ in price anchor, fabric quality and persona — for each set you'll find concrete pricing and the recommended crew profile.
Set 1 — Classic Team Bride Set (from €4.90 per piece)
The budget classic for 6 to 12 people. Fruit of the Loom Valueweight T 61-036 in pink, black or pastel rose, single-sided DTG print with "Team Bride" plus optional names. 1 bride shirt with contrast colour or crown motif, 5–10 crew shirts in a unified colour. Setup time: 10 minutes in the configurator. Pricing example: 1 bride shirt + 9 crew shirts = roughly €75 total including shipping.
Set 2 — Premium Organic Set (from €12.90 per piece)
The photoshoot-ready set for 6 to 10 people. Stanley/Stella Creator STTU169 for the bridesmaid crew plus Stella Expresser STTW032 (women's slim fit) for the bride — both organic cotton in GOTS-certified quality. DTG print with logo or photo of the bride, soft hand-feel, perfect for Instagram. Common case: "the maid of honour pays" — the bridesmaid orders the set as a gift; pricing around €130 for 10 people.
Set 3 — Groom Crew (from €9.90 per piece)
The classic-cool set for stag crews without pink. Stanley/Stella Creator in navy or black, plus Mantis M01 Heritage Tee as the soft-handled alternative. DTF print for full-colour motifs on dark shirts or single-colour DTG with classic slogans. Common setup: 1 groom shirt in contrast colour, 5–8 crew shirts with "Bachelor Crew" or "Best Man on Duty".
Hen-do slogans that actually work
Slogan choice decides half the impact of a hen-do shirt. We've curated 20+ slogans that have worked consistently in DE and UK crews since 2010. For each slogan you'll see whether it combines with photo print and which role it suits.
Classics for Team Bride & Bridesmaids
- "Team Bride" and "Bride Squad" — the all-rounder, instantly understood
- "Bride Tribe" — the international favourite, popular on Instagram
- "Future Mrs. [Name]" for the bride + "Bride Tribe" for the crew — the matching-set look
- "Hen Do 2026 — Bride's Crew" with date or city — adds time and place
Cheeky & with a wink
- "Last Night of Freedom" — the honest classic with mild irony
- "Same Penis Forever" — the in-joke for younger crews. Only if the bride has a sense of humour
- "[Name]'s Last Night Out" with date — self-deprecating without being cringe
- "Bachelorette Survival Crew" — with a small symbol (cocktail glass, handbag), fits bar tour
Premium & personal
- "Bride's Crew · [City] · [Date]" — formal-elegant, perfect for photoshoot sets
- Bride's or groom's logo as vector upload — we prep the print data for free
- Bride's or groom's photo via DTG — minimum 300 DPI at print size
Polterabend & stag crew
- "Stag Do Crew" and "Best Man on Duty" — short and snappy
- "Bachelor Crew · [City]" — neutral-cool, no cliché
- "Mr. & Mrs." with date — also nice for mixed-gender hen-and-stag-dos
Tip: the bride's shirt should stand out from the crew in colour or typography. Common solution: crew in black, bride in white (or vice versa). In the configurator you pick font, position and colour directly on the shirt. More slogan ideas in our planning guide and on the sub-page bachelorette shirts.
Hen-do shirts for women — slim fit and bridesmaid set
Women's crews order with women's slim fit in 70 % of cases. We recommend two models that have proven themselves.
Stanley/Stella Stella Expresser STTW032 is the premium women's slim fit in organic cotton, GOTS certified, tailored cut, runs slightly smaller than standard women's shirts. Ideal for crews aged 22 to 35 who value look and feel. Pricing from €14.90 per piece including single-sided DTG.
Mantis M01 The Tee (women's) is the heritage alternative with a soft grip and slightly looser fit — good if you don't love crop-style. Pricing from €9.90 per piece.
Set pricing for women's crews
| Quantity | Stanley/Stella Bio | Mantis M01 |
|---|---|---|
| 5-set | €89 (€17.80 each) | €59 (€11.80 each) |
| 10-set | €169 (€16.90 each) | €109 (€10.90 each) |
| 15-set | €239 (€15.90 each) | €149 (€9.90 each) |
Which size does the bride wear? With Stanley/Stella, one size smaller than usual. With Mantis M01 the size matches standard women's. We recommend asking sizes via WhatsApp before ordering and sharing the configurator size chart as a screenshot.
Hen-do shirts for men — bachelor crew
Men's crews order more classically, often with more motif variation. Two models cover the market.
Gildan Softstyle 64000 is the slim-fit standard for men aged 22–40: 180 gsm, 32 colours, strong print quality. Pricing from €5.90 per piece at 25-run. Ideal for "Bachelor Crew" sets with single- or two-colour screen print.
Stanley/Stella Creator STTU169 is the premium variant for crews wanting to impress the groom. Organic cotton, GOTS, soft grip. Pricing from €12.90 per piece.
Note: if you want it a touch more distinguished, choose printed polos instead — Stedman Polo Selectprint or Stanley/Stella Prepster, each from €18 per piece with embroidered initial.
Team Bride & Team Groom — combined sets
When hen and stag celebrations come together (or at the wedding-eve polterabend), a combined set is worth it. Standard setup: 1 bride shirt + 5 bridesmaid shirts + 1 groom shirt + 5 best-man shirts. Pricing roughly €130 total on FOTL Valueweight, around €220 on Stanley/Stella.
In the configurator you switch between bride and groom role for identical print-data style — we build a shared print template that varies only in colour or font size between bride/best-man. Setup surcharge: €0 (one-off logo prep covers both roles).
Printing techniques — what suits hen-do shirts best?
For hen-do shirts, digital print (DTG) is the right call in 9 of 10 cases. Reasoning per technique:
- DTG — ideal for 1–30 pieces, full-colour motifs, bride photos. Soft hand-feel, no setup, from 1 piece.
- Screen print — sensible from 25 pieces, then around 25 % cheaper than DTG. Rarely relevant for hen dos (crews typically 6–12).
- DTF print — full-colour on dark shirts from 1 piece. More robust than DTG, slightly less soft.
- Flex print — for pure lettering with crisp look. Sharpest optic, very durable.
The printing technique comparison has the full side-by-side. If you're unsure, just ask — we reply within 24 hours.
Delivery & express — when to order
The most common phone question: "We're partying in two weeks — can we still make it?" Usually yes — but comfort and price are better when you're early.
| Lead time before do | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| 4+ weeks | Standard 5–7 working days, normal pricing |
| 2–3 weeks | Standard or express possible, identical pricing |
| 10–14 days | Express (+20 %) in 2–3 working days |
| 5–7 days | Emergency express on request (24 h finishing) |
In peak season May to September, hen-do, wedding and Father's Day orders overlap — plan 4 weeks of lead time. Live tracking from print-data approval via DHL or GLS.
Design your hen-do shirt step by step
Three steps from idea to order button:
- Pick shirt model + colour — FOTL Valueweight (budget) / Stanley/Stella (premium) / Mantis M01 (heritage)
- Type a slogan or upload your design — vector (SVG, PDF) for crisp lines, PNG with min. 300 DPI for photo print
- See live pricing + order — gross/net toggle, volume discount calculated automatically, print-data check included
Tip: if the bride has a logo or sketch as a phone photo, just upload it — we prep the print data free of charge and respond within 24 hours with a mockup PDF. The photo is deleted GDPR-compliantly after production.
Polterabend shirts — the pre-wedding occasion
The German Polterabend usually takes place the evening before the wedding — sometimes a small private celebration, sometimes with the full wedding party. Unlike a hen do, parents and grandparents often wear shirts too. Recommendation: heavier fabric weight (190 gsm, e.g. B&C #E190) for outdoor action and the ceramic-smashing tradition. DTF print, more robust against mechanical strain.

Frequently asked questions about hen-do shirts
When should I order hen-do shirts?
We recommend 4 weeks of lead time — then you have buffer for corrections, size queries, no express needed. With 2–3 weeks before the do, standard production (5–7 WD) still runs comfortably. At 10–14 days, choose express (+20 %, 2–3 WD). For emergencies we produce in 24 hours on request. In peak season May–September, always plan 4 weeks.
How many shirts does an average hen-do crew need?
An average crew is 6 to 12 people. Plan 1–2 reserve shirts in medium size (M or L) in case someone joins last-minute or a size doesn't fit. For larger crews (15+), switching to screen print pays off — we calculate on request.
Which size does the bride wear?
With Stanley/Stella Stella Expresser (women's slim) one size smaller than usual — the cut runs narrow. With Mantis M01 the size matches standard women's. We recommend asking sizes via WhatsApp before ordering.
How much do hen-do shirts cost per piece?
With digital print, hen-do shirts fall between €7.90 (FOTL Valueweight, 25-set, single-colour) and €22.90 (Stanley/Stella Bio, 1 piece DTG). Standard set for 10 people on FOTL Valueweight costs around €130 total including shipping; premium set on Stanley/Stella around €180. See live pricing in the configurator. Full pricing overview at cheap t-shirt printing.
Can I print a photo of the bride on the shirt?
Yes — with digital print (DTG) we print photos in photo quality from 1 piece. Upload the photo in the configurator (PNG or JPG, min. 300 DPI at final print size), we verify the resolution and contact you if quality is insufficient. The photo is deleted GDPR-compliantly after production — no storage beyond the order.
Which printing technique lasts longest?
Screen print is most robust (50+ washes at 60 °C), but rarely relevant at hen-do scale. For crews from 6 people we recommend DTG (40 °C, 30–40 washes) or DTF (40 °C, 40+ washes). Practical tip: first wash cold inside out, then normal machine wash.
Are hen-do shirts available in plus-size (XXL+, 3XL+)?
Yes — Fruit of the Loom Valueweight up to 5XL, Gildan Softstyle up to 5XL, Stanley/Stella Creator up to 3XL. Volume discounts apply across mixed sizes too. In the configurator you choose per person — total quantity counts for the discount.
Which colours are popular for hen-do sets?
Top 3 for the crew: black, white, pastel pink. The bride contrasts — black crew + white bride shirt or vice versa. Pastel green and lavender feature more often at summer hen-dos by the lake. Stag crews favour navy, black, heather grey.
Can I mix bridesmaid shirts in different colours?
Yes — per person you can pick an individual colour in the configurator. The volume staircase still adds up the total, so you keep the 10-set discount even with mixed colours. Popular setup: bride in white, bridesmaids in five graded pink tones.
Do you offer slogan templates for hen-dos?
Yes — the configurator has 30+ ready-made slogans in five categories (classic, cheeky, premium, polterabend, stag crew). Click to import a slogan and customise (font, colour, position) in the configurator. Custom slogans are always possible.
