How easy it is to design your workwear
Four steps, no minimum order, transparent prices. You see the per-piece final price already in the configurator.
- Choose model — Polo, pullover, pilot shirt, apron or T-shirt. Filterable by brand, material and industrial-wash suitability.
- Set quantity — One piece or thousand. Quantity discount applied automatically.
- Upload or design logo — Vector (SVG, AI, EPS) preferred for embroidery. We check the file and get back to you.
- Order and decorate — We digitise the embroidery motif, embroider or print and ship in 5–10 working days.
If you do not have a print-ready logo, our graphics team handles the preparation for a small flat fee. For embroidery jobs from 25 pieces, logo digitisation is free.
Which decoration suits workwear?
Workwear has to withstand industrial laundry, mechanical stress and often chemical cleaners. Not every process is suitable for that.
- Embroidery — The standard process for workwear. Boil-wash safe up to 95 °C, mechanically virtually indestructible, lasts for years. Ideal for Hakro Polo 110, Pilot Shirt 814 and Karlowsky aprons. Sensible from 1 piece, especially economical from 25 pieces.
- Transfer printing — Robust alternative for complex, multi-colour logos. Industrial-wash compatible with specialised transfer foils. From 1 piece.
- Reflective printing — On request for safety workwear (construction, logistics at night). Highly reflective foils, EN ISO 20471 available.
- Screen printing — Possible, but used less often on workwear, since the material is often too structured and industrial laundry stresses the print image more.

Quantity discount — pricing tiers
The tier refers to the per-piece price (workwear + decoration). Example calculation for a Hakro Performance Polo 110 with logo embroidery (up to 8 cm wide, single side on the chest):

The digitisation fee (one-off £35) is waived from 25 pieces. For multiple embroidery positions (chest + back + sleeve) add £1.50–£3.50 per piece per additional position — depending on size and complexity.

Example 1 — Electrical company, 18 employees A plumbing and electrical business from Erfurt ordered 18 Hakro Performance Polo 110 in navy and 18 Hakro Pullover 472 with embroidered company logo on the chest.
